The FIG team is delighted to be short-listed in the original Prolific North Awards, the Prolific North Champions – recognising all those organisations, teams and individuals putting the North on the map in creative and digital.
FIG’s SRL, the Gamechangers, is short-listed in the B2B marketing campaign of the year, in recognition of our work with client SRL Traffic Systems. It’s been a roller coaster ride since we were engaged by the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of Portable and Temporary Traffic Systems, in May 2020. We work very much as part of their team, becoming their outsourced marketing department, trusted to manage their social media, email marketing, PR, exhibitions, campaigns, advertising, and design.
A B2B campaign was required to differentiate SRL and deliver a comprehensive brand and messaging strategy across all channels.
FIG created a comprehensive marketing and PR plan that was integrated across every channel. We developed a targeted media list of all key highways and transport publications and stories on new product launches, accreditations, appointments, innovations, and supplier partnerships were regularly published. To establish SRL as innovators in the marketplace, we sought opportunities for thought leadership in the press and via relevant regulatory bodies and associations.
We updated the company LinkedIn profile with vibrant, engaging visuals, reinforcing our key messages. Thought leadership pieces, product news and case studies were also shared across relevant management team profiles.
A series of case studies promoted the key messages of innovation and service. To reinforce SRL as Game Changers, FIG introduced a series of ‘myth buster’ posts to highlight things customers might not know about SRL and showcase their differentiators.
An engaging programme of team interviews has reinforced the customer service message, with highly visual social posts linking to interesting stories from members of the team. Webinar and podcast opportunities have been secured with key technical personnel to demonstrate their expertise in the industry.
A fun, creative competition ran across social media and people sent in photographs and drawings of SRL’s traffic lights out on the roads to help their local school win a share of £24,000 to buy cycling equipment. The CSER initiative supported the Game Changers campaign as SRL’s products help to keep roads safe during construction works.
Email marketing has also been introduced with SRL existing customer base for the first time.
SRL’s B2B marketing and communications is creative, targeted and integrated to maximise coverage and engagement across all channels. Leading with PR, then adapting content for other channels, FIG has delivered value for SRL and achieved maximum exposure.
SRL is delighted with the results and how it is supporting their business growth, reputation, objectives and ambitions.
