FIG 2018 – A year of creativity and success…

January: New year, new talent – a breath of fresh air as FIG welcomes 2018 with a strengthened client services team. Lucy Marriott joins us as Account Manager and Charlotte Hoyland takes up the reins of the Account Executive role.

February: We’re made of hardy stuff! The Beast from the East tried to do its worst but our intrepid team weren’t to be stopped… despite snow drifts and driving wind FIG was very much open for business.

March / April/ May: Exhibition season hits – bringing together the talents of our design, marketing, copywriting and PR teams for a number of clients. Marketing Partner Glossop Cartons ‘boxes off’ the competition with creative style and Northwood stands out from the crowd with an impressive and engaging stand.

Spring also sees shoots of new growth, with new clients and new staff joining us. Global wireless video technology company Vislink commissions FIG in a long term project to develop a new brand identity and digital presence and Katy Stead, former network TV producer and journalist joins our PR team.

June: A ray of sunshine as our Senior Account Executive Becky welcomes Baby Edie Wren to the world!

July:  We mark the launch of a new-look website for Marketing Partner Northwood building on the strong presence made earlier in the year at Interclean 2018 with their FIG designed stand. Our collaboration with Northwood also makes headlines in the business press. https://www.prolificnorth.co.uk/news/digital/2018/07/fig-cleans-northwood-website

July: Fun in the Sun! A busy schedule of work for our digital, design, marketing and PR teams but there’s still a bit of time for some FIG bonding as New Business Director Martin plays chef at our summer roof-top BBQ.

We make the most of the sun to do our bit locally with the first of our FIG litter pick sessions.

August: School may be out! But already attention is on a new academic intake as our longstanding partnership with Buxton and Leek College delivers its latest prospectus with a focus on career pathways.

August: Recruitment success for FIG as Nikita Murray joins our Client Services team.

September:  Going digital: as Autumn approaches the first of a portfolio of website projects go live.

Ready steady bake – it’s the final of the FIG charity bake-off! After 11 weeks of baking, frosting and piping Nikita is crowned champion in the final round of our head-to-head patisserie knockout. It’s not all about tickling taste buds though, as we’ve raised money at the same time for Reuben’s Retreat. Based in Glossop, the charity provides support, counselling, activity days and short breaks for families of children with life limiting or life-threatening illnesses.

October:  FIG on the up! – with another top 30 ranking in the prestigious Prolific North Top PR Agencies, benchmark survey of the North’s leading PR agencies.

November: An early Christmas present all round as Emma and Chris from our Design team introduce a brand new design …. Baby Maeve!

December: Christmas, charity and cake… We’re honoured to learn that our Bake-off charity event has funded a special memory-making break for the family of a child with a life limiting illness.   The festive season sees us create and launch a special #TogetherAtChristmas hamper campaign for Marketing Partner LabelsPlus raising awareness about those who are alone and in need at this time of years… and FIG goes all elf-ish for the Alzheimers Society.

It’s been a great year all round and here’s to 2019!
