A Year of Change for the Devonshire Dome

FIG has been a long-term Marketing Partner for Buxton’s Devonshire Dome, the commercial arm of the University of Derby, supporting the commercial team with on-going and effective B2C marketing, design and communications.

2019 was a year of change for the team at the Devonshire Dome, as the organisation went through a comprehensive re-brand which needed to be rolled out effectively across all channels – for this challenge, they turned to FIG.

What we achieved in 2019

  • Delivered a comprehensive Christmas campaign to promote the Dome and the Spa Shopping Event – this included emailshots, social creatives, website updates, artwork and printed literature
  • Implemented the Dome’s updated brand guidelines across their website and rolled this out across their marketing collateral for a smoother transition period
  • Managed their three social accounts for the Devonshire Dome and Devonshire Spa, sharing more than 550 posts – Not to mention, we also helped them to launch their spa Instagram account
  • We worked alongside the events team and students to deliver their Buxton Festival campaign, including printed literature, web updates and social content (including boosted content)
  • Design for the Dome – from adverts and football sponsorship designs, spa medical forms and brochures, loyalty cards
  • Achieved an average open rate of over 58%, compared to an industry average of
