Sales & Marketing Manager

Job Description

The role will be responsible for the creation and delivery of FIG’s Sales and Marketing strategy working collaboratively with the senior team to support the Company’s growth objectives and deliver excellence in customer service, performance and value for our clients. You will effectively lead the sales, marketing and PR communications for FIG.

You can expect to be working on sales and marketing initiatives that are creative and innovative, bringing our marketing strategy to life and presenting your own ideas on how we achieve growth for both FIG’s brand and our clients.

You’ll help to fill our sales pipeline with new opportunities by effectively engaging with our target audience and utilising your skills to build strong and lasting relationships.

Client side experience in our key target markets, such as manufacturing, industrial or technical could be advantageous.

The role is senior, with accountability to the Managing Director and you will work closely with our Finance Manager, Account Director and Studio Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Positively representing FIG’s brand values, building relationships with the team, existing clients and new clients to grow and develop FIG’s business.
  • Build an effective growth marketing plan to include our full range of marketing and PR services relevant for our target audience. Working with the FIG team to help implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns, and measuring results, including email marketing, content, social media and PR.
  • Create and implement a sales roadmap to meet growth targets into our target sectors and geographic areas.
  • Track, analyse and report on key sales metrics and provide a sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales lifecycle from lead generation to close, using Synergist our online communication platform to update on communications, opportunities, quotations and expected sales.
  • Research client needs and identify how our products meet them.
  • Attend relevant networking and event opportunities to represent FIG and generate enquiries.
  • Represent FIG proactively on LinkedIn to build relationships and generate enquiries.
  • Achievement of KPIs include agreed sales revenue objectives, converting enquiries into sales.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • A degree in Marketing or Business is ideal.
  • A proven track record in a marketing and sales environment, ideally 5 years+.
  • Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans.
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A creative, positive energy and can-do attitude.
  • A self-starter, driven and diligent, commercially aware and able to independently deliver high quality work and drive sales.
  • A confident, driven and dynamic leader with the credibility and commercial awareness to advise and influence at a senior level.
  • An understanding of values-led solution selling with the ability to inspire confidence in others.
  • A proactive and collaborative relationship-builder with strong communication skills.
  • An excellent organiser and project manager.
  • A good, confident presenter.
  • Results-oriented with an experience in managing and maintaining a sales network.
  • A self-starter, comfortable using their initiative and working autonomously but also a great team player.

Full-time. Salary: £35k-£45k depending on experience and achievement of targets
