We’re always keen to better ourselves here at FIG, and the management team are always looking for ways to invest in the staff’s future and training. As Henry Ford allegedly once said, “The only thing worse than training your employees and having them leave, is not training them and having them stay.”
We believe that by investing in the FIG team, it not only makes the individual staff member feel valued, but it strengthens the company as a whole – and by sharing our new-found knowledge with the rest of the FIG team, we can then pass these new skills onto FIG’s clients through the great work we produce for them. It’s a win-win situation!
FIG’s Client Services Director, Tom Lay has been busy recently, not only working full-time but also undertaking a comprehensive Operations & Departmental Management course over the last 18 months, and we’re delighted that he’s achieved a Distinction for all his hard work – well done Tom.
As one of FIG’s most relied on assets, we’re thrilled that all his hard work has paid off and are looking forward to seeing him putting his enhanced management skills into practice.
Tom said, “I’ve really enjoyed the course and am looking forward to being able to suggest additional strategies and ways of working which will complement what is already a high-performing Client Services team.”
